This year for the first time girls in 7th – 12th grades from Torah Day School of Dallas and Mesorah High School for Girls participated in their own basketball league, GBL – Girls Basketball League, with an official referee from the Plano School District.

It is with much excitement that we invite all of the ladies and girls of our community to join us for the Championship Game which will take place at the JCC on Motzei Shabbos, March 7th at 9 PM. Please enter the J through the Fitness Center. We would love to fill the stands and cheer our girls on in this inaugural event.

Scholarship Raffle Underway

Mesorah’s Annual Scholarship Raffle is underway. Participation in this event accomplishes something crucial for our school: Funds collected from this raffle provide necessary scholarships for many of our students who would otherwise have a very difficult time acquiring the quality of education Mesorah offers.

Tickets may be purchased by phone 214-420-1990, ext. 102 or email azkosowsky@mesorahhighschool.org. The cost is $100 per ticket.

FIRST GRAND PRIZE: $5000 gift certificate to Bachendorf’s – Fine Designer Jewelry

SECOND GRAND PRIZE: Honolulu, Hawaii (or anywhere in the continental US)- three night trip for two (includes airfare and hotel)

All Mesorah students are invited to a Simchas Bais Hashoaivah this Sunday night, October 19, 7:45 p.m. until 9:15 p.m. at the home Rabbi Yehudah and Mrs. Esti Abrams, 5731 Charlestown. The Abrams would like to celebrate Succos with simcha, fun and games, and friends. They look forward to seeing everyone there.

Meet the Teachers Night – September 8

This coming Monday, from 7 – 9 p.m., Mesorah parents will have the amazing opportunity to meet our faculty. We will begin with Mincha promptly at 7 p.m., followed at 7:15 p.m. by some informative presentations. Afterward, teachers will distribute course information, discuss expectations, and answer general questions.

To be sure we will have a Minyan for Mincha, please reply to this post if you are planning to come. If you know that you will not be able to attend, please let us know so that we can get the information to you.

Location: Please enter through IMC building (to the left of the LENDING.COM building). Take the elevator down to the ground floor and go to the right as you exit the elevator. We’re at the end of the hall in suite B190.

Attention Adult Women: New Class Starting Tuesday, August 26

Beginning Tuesday morning, August 26, from 8:45 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., Mesorah High School’s Graduate Division will present Rabbi Yisroel Katz who will help prepare us for Rosh Hashana. All women are invited. The class runs for four consecutive Tuesdays and the cost is $10 per session or $30 for all four.
