Where can I use my TAB Card?
Your TAB Card may be used everywhere Debit Mastercard is accepted.
Can I have multiple TAB Card accounts all paying their reward to the same tuition account?
Yes, you can sign up for any number of TAB Card accounts, all linked to the same tuition account. Please note that a different email address must be used when signing up for a subsequent TAB Card.
Can my tuition accounts at different schools be linked to one TAB Card account?
No, you can only have one tuition account linked to a TAB Card account.
Is there a cost to obtain a TAB Card?
There is no cost to get a TAB Card, but to help reduce fraud, the TAB Card program has a $10 enrollment fee; however, upon activation of your TAB Card you will receive a $10 promotional credit to your account.
How does it work?
After signing up for the TAB Card and loading funds, when one makes a purchase, they earn a percentage of the transaction back towards their school tuition as a reward.
Example:
A family goes out to dine at a local restaurant offering a 10% reward. Their bill is $300, and the family pays with their TAB Card. A $30 tuition reward is earned and credited to their school tuition account.
How do I know which local merchants participate in the program?
Click the “REWARDS” link and browse the “IN-STORE” section to view a full listing of participating merchants in-store.
How do I know which online merchants participate in the program?
Click the “REWARDS” link and browse the “ONLINE” section to find a full listing of the participating online merchants. You can also install the TAB Card Rewards browser extension to alert you to participating online merchants.
How long will it take for me to see my earned reward?
Your earned reward will typically be reflected in your account within 1-3 days on In-Store purchases and 7-14 days on online purchases.
Can I return an item and get a full refund on my purchase?
You may make a return according to the merchant’s policy; however, the rewards earned on the original transaction will be subtracted from your rewards balance.
When will my tuition reward be paid, and how will it affect my payments?
Your tuition reward will be paid directly to the school twice during the school year on the date indicated on the left side panel of your “MY ACCOUNT” page. Your future payments will be adjusted accordingly.
My tuition is paid through a third party, can I still join and earn the reward?
Yes, during signup, select that your tuition is paid through QTR, and your reward will be returned to you.
I am a school employee; can I still join and earn the reward?
Yes, during signup, select that you are a school employee, and your reward will be returned to you.
Can my school see where I used my TAB Card?
No, your TAB Card account is completely private. Your school only receives your earned reward money as a lump sum and is not provided with any information as to how it was earned. ■
