Today marked a truly historic and joyous milestone for Mesorah High School for Girls as we officially celebrated the Ribbon-Cutting of our beautiful new campus. With more than 250 people in attendance, the building was filled not only with guests but with pride, gratitude, and a powerful sense of shared purpose.
A Community United
Rabbis from across the entire Jewish community joined parents, supporters, alumnae, and friends to witness this moment. Mesorah students—past and present—were warmly present, adding depth and continuity to the celebration and reminding us that this building stands for generations of growth.
Thoughtful Design, Warm Hospitality
Guests entered under the new awning and flowed into the welcoming foyer before gathering in the davening room for the formal program. The event itself was impeccably designed by Malke Brookler, whose elegant draperies and stylishly arranged tables created an inviting space for both celebrating and schmoozing. Delicious food from Simcha Kosher Catering added to the warm, festive atmosphere. The entire event was organized by Rabbi Yerachmiel Udman, Mesorah Director of Development.
Meaningful Words & Distinguished Speakers
The event was emceed by Don Goldstein, President of Mesorah, whose authenticity and clarity set the tone for the afternoon. The feeling in the room was one of excitement and reverence as a moving video captured the heart of what Mesorah is about—Torah, growth, and the nurturing of young women who will shape the future.
Our Headmaster, Rabbi Avraham Zev Kosowsky, shared a meaningful Dvar Torah highlighting the importance of educating our children. He also expressed gratitude to Hashem and to the many individuals whose dedication made this day possible.
We were honored to hear keynote remarks from:
- Bill Roth, who spoke about Mesorah’s impact and the importance of faith-based education in our city
- Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas Chair, Sherry Goldberg, asked the girls to return to Dallas after a gap year in Israel to become leaders in the Dallas Jewish community.
The Ribbon-Cutting & Beyond
Following the speeches, the Ribbon-Cutting ceremony officially ushered in this new chapter. Guests then enjoyed guided tours of the school, facilitated by our students, taking in the thoughtfully designed classrooms and spaces intended to inspire learning, connection, and growth for years to come.
Today was more than an event—it was a testament to vision, perseverance, and community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this moment so meaningful. This new building is not just a structure; it is a home for Torah, education, and the bright future of Mesorah. ■
