As Mesorah High School for Girls continues to thrive under the guidance of our Headmaster, Rabbi Avraham Zev Kosowsky, we are pleased to share a significant update regarding the expansion of our leadership team. With a record number of students enrolled for the upcoming school year and our new campus on the horizon, the time is ripe for thoughtful growth. To support this next chapter, we are proud to announce the addition and expansion of several key administrative roles. These exceptional individuals—some new, some familiar—will help shape the future of Mesorah with clarity, purpose, and heart.
Academic Excellence: Two Principals, One Unified Vision
Mrs. Batya Epstein has been appointed Judaic Studies Principal, bringing her deep knowledge of Torah and leadership to guide curriculum development, teacher support, and student growth in all areas of Judaic learning.
Dr. Joleta Gallozzi, a respected educator with years of experience, will serve as our General Studies Principal, overseeing a rigorous and engaging academic program that prepares our students for college, career, and life with excellence and integrity.
Together, Mrs. Epstein and Dr. Gallozzi will partner to ensure a cohesive, meaningful education that reflects our mission and values.
Student Support & School Spirit
Mrs. Susan Rich will continue in her role as Assistant Principal, with a special focus on supporting students with learning differences and special needs. Her compassion, experience, and insight help every girl feel seen, understood, and empowered to succeed.
We are also thrilled to welcome back Mrs. Ahuva Becher as Mechaneches (Dean of Students). Known for her warmth and wisdom, Mrs. Becher will offer personal guidance, lead school-wide initiatives in character development, and provide trusted support for students as they grow in confidence and connection.
Parent & Community Engagement
Mrs. Becky Udman will step into a new role as co-president of the Mesorah PTA, joining Mrs. Jenny Quinn in leading this vital bridge between home and school. With creative energy and heartfelt dedication, the PTA will continue building programs that enhance school life and foster strong family involvement.
Development & the Future of Mesorah
Rabbi Yerachmiel Udman will continue in his role as Director of Development. Rabbi Udman will guide Mesorah’s growth strategy and long-term sustainability, ensuring the school remains strong, secure, and ready for the future.
Mrs. Liba Joffe will continue as Assistant Director of Development, where she will strengthen connections with parents, alumnae, and supporters through strategic campaigns and community-building initiatives.
A Vision for What’s Ahead
As Mesorah enters its 26th year, we are not only celebrating our history—we are boldly building our future. These leadership appointments reflect our commitment to the whole student: mind, heart, and soul. With outstanding educators and dedicated professionals in every corner of our school, we are poised to continue growing, innovating, and inspiring—together.
We thank our parent body, alumnae, and community for your trust and support. Here’s to a year of meaningful learning, spirited collaboration, and continued bracha.
