On Sunday, the beautifully decorated social hall at Congregation Ohr Hatorah was standing-room-only as families, faculty, alumnae, and community members gathered to celebrate a major milestone: the graduation of the Class of 2025. The energy in the room was palpable as 16 accomplished young women stepped into their futures with poise, purpose, and pride.
The program featured a rich array of speeches that reflected Mesorah’s values of Torah, growth, individuality, and community. The audience was treated to a sampling of wisdom, warmth, and inspiration from community leaders and educators.
Shiva Delrahim Beck, Secretary of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, shared her journey from Iran to America, highlighting the importance of Jewish education and continuity. “As Jewish women, we are the lionesses of our nation,” she said passionately, urging the graduates to lead, give, and be proud bearers of their mesorah.
Mr. Don Goldstein, Mesorah’s President of the Board of Directors, offered an inspiring message on the power of speech—dibur—and its relevance in Torah and life. “Let your speech reflect your inner strength and compassion,” he urged, linking the graduates’ journey to the lessons of Sefer Bamidbar.

Rabbi Avraham Kosowsky, Headmaster, framed the graduation in the context of Jewish resilience and hope for the future, especially during a time of challenge in Eretz Yisrael. He presented academic honors and shared thoughtful, individualized Torah insights about each graduate, highlighting their inner strengths and personal accomplishments. The audience was visibly moved as each girl was recognized not only for what she had done but also for who she had become.
Among the highlights:
- Valedictorian: Elisheva Sionit
- Salutatorians: Shira Heymann and Perel Leah Stolov
- כתר שם טוב Award: Perel Leah Stolov for exemplifying the values of Mesorah in every setting.
Each graduate then took the stage to deliver her own reflections, weaving Torah insights with personal experiences, and giving the audience a window into her growth. The collective presentation painted a picture of a compassionate, resilient, intellectually curious class, and committed to a life of Torah and chessed.

As Headmaster Rabbi Kosowsky and Assistant Principal Mrs. Susan Rich presented the diplomas, the pride in the room was unmistakable.
