At Mesorah High School for Girls, growth isn’t just something we teach — it’s something we live. And nowhere is that more evident than in the incredible success of our fundraising efforts over the past five years.
In 2020, our community came together in a big way, raising $105,000 from 350 generous donors. It was a powerful moment that showed the strength of our mission and the dedication of our supporters. At the time, it felt monumental — and it was.
Fast forward to 2025, and that momentum has only grown stronger. This year, we nearly doubled our donor base, with 697 donors stepping up to support Mesorah’s vision. Together, they raised an astounding $241,000 — a reflection of the deepening commitment to our school, our students, and the future of Jewish education in Dallas.
This growth isn’t just about numbers. It’s about partnership. It’s about a community that believes in the potential of every Mesorah girl. It’s about parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends who understand that investing in Mesorah is investing in something timeless — values, leadership, and the next generation of Jewish women.
We are deeply grateful to every single donor who helped us reach this milestone. Your support ensures that we can continue to provide an exceptional education rooted in Torah, academic excellence, and personal growth.
From 2020 to 2025, we’ve seen how far we can go when we come together. And we know this is just the beginning.
Thank you for helping Mesorah grow — and for being a part of our journey.
Fundraising by the Numbers
Growth in Participation
- Donors increased from 652 in 2024 to 697 in 2025 — a jump of nearly 7%.
- This indicates strong and growing engagement from the broader community, with more individuals choosing to support Mesorah’s mission.
Total Funds Raised
- The total amount raised grew from $208,686 in 2024 to $241,184 in 2025, an increase of over $32,000, or 15.5%.
- This is a significant increase, especially considering that the 2025 campaign fell slightly short of its higher goal ($250,000), achieving 96% versus 104% of goal in 2024.
Average Gift Size
- The average donation rose from $160 to $200, a 25% increase.
- This suggests that not only did more people give, but they also gave more generously.
Student Leadership & Ambassador Impact
- The number of ambassadors jumped from 32 to 54, a 69% increase, showing rising parent and student involvement and leadership.
- 16 ambassadors reached award levels in 2025 — a new metric that reflects parent and student motivation and competitive spirit.
- The highest individual student total raised more than doubled, from $3,964 to $8,179, which is a powerful sign of increased student effort and effectiveness.
Call Center Engagement
- Participation in the call center effort exploded from fewer than 20 students to 55 plus 10 special awardees in 2025.
- This shows an incredible increase in hands-on student participation, which likely contributed to higher donor engagement and total funds raised.
Alumnae Involvement
- Alumnae giving saw a dramatic rise, from $5,800 in 2024 to $19,000 in 2025 — a 228% increase.
- The launch of the Alumnae Association Matchers (with 60 matchers in 2025) likely played a key role in this growth.
- This trend points to a strengthening bond between Mesorah graduates and the school — a powerful long-term asset for fundraising and community building.

Top Parent & Student Fundraisers
- Several students appear in the top fundraisers list (Banarer, Blumenthal, Katz, Noble, and Senft), showing that student-driven peer-to-peer fundraising was a major force in 2025.
- Several parents appear in the top fundraisers list (Craven, Lurie, Michaels, Quinn, and Sutkin), and several other parent-fundraisers contributed to the overall fundraising boost.
Bottom Line
Mesorah’s fundraising success from 2024 to 2025 reflects a thriving and increasingly engaged school community. With greater student leadership, deeper alumnae support, and growing average donations, the future of Mesorah’s fundraising is on an exciting upward trajectory. The numbers speak for themselves — and they tell a story of unity, generosity, and vision. ■
