Wow! Mesorah High School for Girls recently experienced an incredible Color War, thanks to the outstanding leadership of our dedicated G.O. heads, Shira Bracha Katz and Nechama Zakon as well as all those who participated! From the moment of our exciting breakout, every detail—from themes to activities, presentations, and beyond—was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed.
We split the festivities into teams, each focused on meaningful themes of Achdus and Simcha. Team spirit filled the air as everyone dove into planning their creative presentations. Soon after, we headed outside for some exhilarating relay races, including the classic over-under water challenge, filling buckets with passed water, and the ever-entertaining hula hoop pass!
Returning indoors, the girls channeled their creativity into crafting impressive banners and badges, each containing deeply meaningful and inspiring messages. Next up was an intense chidon competition, followed by a lively belts challenge and exciting badge presentations, which highlighted each team’s creativity.
Both teams poured their hearts into preparing well into the night, and we’re deeply grateful to the Rosenberg and Goldschmidt families for graciously hosting these late-night sessions.
Friday morning started beautifully with davening and final preparations for the big presentations. What followed was nothing short of spectacular! Each team amazed us with stunning snack tables, creative billboards, and charming team mascots. Every girl truly shone in her unique way, bringing out exceptional creativity, talent, and a genuine sense of achdus.
The presentations continued in the lunchroom before our esteemed judges, Mrs. Katz, Mrs. Colin, Mrs. Rosenblatt, and Mrs. Joffe. Each team creatively presented their “judge’s bribes,” followed by uplifting and inspiring divrei Torah delivered eloquently by Esti Michaels and Perel Leah Stolov. The enthusiasm continued with lively team cheers and breathtaking banners filled with meaningful messages—a special shout-out to Alex Englander and Rina Hartman for their artistic brilliance!
The excitement peaked with hilarious skits, original and beautiful songs, and energetic dances, keeping everyone entertained and inspired. Seeing every girl step up and contribute her unique talents, creativity, and passion was genuinely uplifting.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible G.O. heads, dedicated judges, generous hosts, and all the amazing girls who made this year’s Color War at Mesorah unforgettable. Every girl played a vital role, and the tremendous effort and enthusiasm made this event extraordinary! ■
