In the opening weeks of Biology, our students have been diving into the fascinating world of the cell—the smallest unit of life. They’ve learned about the different organelles and their essential functions, bringing this complex subject to life through creativity and hands-on learning.
To reinforce their knowledge, the girls crafted their own colorful models of cells, carefully labeling each part. The classroom buzzed with excitement as science and art blended seamlessly together.
And if you meet one of our 9th or 10th graders, be sure to ask them to sing the incredibly catchy Organelle Song—it’s a tune that makes mitochondria and ribosomes hard to forget! ■
