What a week it was at Mesorah! Between the 100th Day of School celebration and the Erev Rosh Chodesh Adar Carnival, there was never a dull moment. The energy was contagious, and the creativity on display truly highlighted the unique spirit of our school.
Celebrating 100 Days of School
Esti Michaels and Elisheva Sionit kicked off the festivities with a flurry of activity. Students were invited to showcase projects that represented the 100-day milestone, and the results were nothing short of amazing. From interactive displays to imaginative artwork, the creativity was absolutely stunning. A huge mazal tov to Devorah Banarer, whose project took home first place in the competition!
But the excitement didn’t stop there. We split into two teams for a lively game that challenged our Mesorah knowledge. Each girl was given a letter, and as Mesorah-themed questions were posed, we scrambled to spell out the answers faster than the opposing team. The competitive spirit and laughter that filled the room made it a memorable experience.
And, of course, what’s a celebration without treats? A piñata brimming with 100 candies (one for each day of school) and delicious cupcakes rounded out the event. Those who remember the 50th day of school will recall we had “half-cupcakes,” so it was only fitting to have the full-sized version for this milestone.
An Unforgettable Erev Rosh Chodesh Adar Carnival
Thursday brought even more fun and festivity as our G.O. Heads, Shira Bracha Katz and Nechama Zakon, organized an incredible carnival on the parking lot roof. The sun was shining, music filled the air, and the entire Mesorah community came together to celebrate with boundless joy.
From bouncing in the inflatable bounce house to playing games like “Guess the Soda” and “Guess How Many Marshmallows,” there was something for everyone. The massive Jenga set added a playful twist, and the smell of fresh popcorn kept us coming back for more.
Thank you to Shira Bracha and Nechama for putting together such an amazing event. The attention to detail, the wide variety of activities, and the pure fun captured the spirit of Adar perfectly.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We are so proud of our students, staff, and G.O. Heads who made this week’s events unforgettable. Your energy, creativity, and enthusiasm embody the warmth and excitement that make Mesorah such a special place. ■
