Last Thursday, Mesorah High School for Girls witnessed an inspiring and energetic kickoff for this year’s chessed program, led by our dedicated chessed heads, Adina Heimowitz and Aliza Sebbag. The theme for this year, “Chessed is Our Target,” was introduced with much enthusiasm and creativity.
The event began with a lively song and dance performance that set the tone for the afternoon. Adina and Aliza took the “stage” to explain the various aspects of the chessed program, highlighting the numerous opportunities available for students to get involved in acts of kindness and community service. They emphasized the importance of chessed in our daily lives and how each student can make a meaningful impact.
To ensure everyone could participate in a way that suits their interests and strengths, each girl received a form to fill out, indicating her preferred chessed activities. This personalized approach allows every student to contribute in a way that feels most fulfilling to her.
The event concluded on a sweet note, with everyone enjoying delicious ice cream, fostering a sense of community and excitement for the year ahead. The kickoff was a resounding success, setting the stage for a year filled with meaningful chessed activities and personal growth.
