Liba Joffe is a name that resonates with warmth, dedication, and a sprinkle of humor.
A proud alumna of Mesorah High School for Girls, Liba’s journey is a testament to the enduring impact of our supportive educational environment. Her story reassures us of the transformative power of education and community.
After graduating in 2009, Liba’s path led her back to Dallas in 2014, where she now enjoys life with her husband and four beautiful children. Her connection to Mesorah didn’t end with her graduation; it evolved into a role that allows her to give back to the institution that shaped her formative years. Liba’s enthusiasm for connecting with fellow alumnae is palpable, and her side job in real estate adds an entrepreneurial flair to her already impressive resume.

Reflecting on her time at Mesorah, Liba fondly recalls the challenges and triumphs that defined her high school experience. Academics did not come easy, but with the unwavering support of Rabbi Kosowsky and the dedicated staff, she discovered her strengths and honed her leadership skills. “They [Mesorah] taught me that facing challenges and trying your best is what is important (then it was grades), and as an entrepreneur, I carry these lessons with me every single day,” says Liba.

One of Liba’s most cherished memories from her student days is the camaraderie and fun she shared with her friends. The activities and events organized by Mesorah were more than just school functions; they were opportunities to create lasting bonds and unforgettable moments.
In her new role at Mesorah as Assistant Director of Development, Liba will be working under Mesorah’s Director of Development, Rabbi Yerachmiel Udman. Liba is committed to ensuring current students have access to the same enriching experiences she enjoyed. Her fundraising and alumnae engagement efforts are driven by a deep sense of gratitude and a desire to see Mesorah flourish. With the school’s 25th anniversary on the horizon, Liba is excited about the plans for celebrations, mentorship programs, and alumnae reunions. She believes that the strength of Mesorah lies in its community, and she is dedicated to fostering that sense of belonging for future generations.
