What an incredible orientation we had yesterday!
Rabbi Kosowsky set the tone beautifully, emphasizing the importance of unity within Klal Yisrael. In a world where challenges abound, we recognize that being there for one another—on a grand scale—is our strength. This spirit of caring and togetherness will permeate our school year.
Here are some highlights from orientation:
- Handbook Insights: Rabbi Kosowsky took us through the handbook, patiently explaining policies and answering questions. We must understand our guidelines and expectations and ensure a safe and supportive environment for every student.
- Schedules Unveiled: The excitement was palpable as each student received her schedule. New classes, new teachers—it’s all part of the adventure that awaits us. The buzz in the air tells me we’re in for an incredible year ahead.
- “We’re Going Places”: Shira Bracha Katz and Nechama Zakon, our dynamic GO heads, kicked off their theme with flair. Picture this: a lively song, a carefully choreographed dance, and delicious chocolate chip cookies! Oh, and let’s not forget the water bottles and candies. These ladies know how to make an entrance!
- Milk and Honey: Our students were treated to fresh, mouthwatering meals from Milk and Honey. It’s amazing how good food can bring people together. As some savored their lunches and others their dinners, old friendships were rekindled, and new connections formed.
- Anticipation Builds: Thursday marks the first day of classes, and we can hardly wait. The hallways will echo with laughter, curiosity, and the promise of growth. Armed with schedules and enthusiasm, our students are ready to embrace the challenge.
To our wonderful community, thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s make this school year one to remember! What an exciting start to the academic year!
