Dear Parents,
We have enjoyed another great week of learning and growing together!
Our 9th, 10th and 11th grade classes are learning the Penimi Technology curriculum. They are exploring how the digital age has impacted our lives and values. They are thinking about and discussing the importance of meaningful relationships and our own mental, emotional health and how technology affects us. Different modes of communication, making sure we are heard and understood, how to create positive connections and friendships, disengaging from dependence on a screen or other people’s opinions, privacy and mindfulness are some of the many topics included in these important discussions.
Beyond the classroom:
Our Chessed committee, Rivkie Craven, Miriam Mernick and Bracha Quinn, had us “racing toward chessed” as we enjoyed cheering for our friends during Thursday’s relay race activity! We are hearing terrific, positive feedback from the girls and from those whom they are helping about the impact they are making.
Production practice is underway! There is excitement and energy in the air as they create and practice songs, dances and lines in the play. Thank you for your support and flexibility as we give our girls extra opportunities to be creative, practice responsibility, collaborate with others and shine in so many ways!
Quotes of the week:
- “Production is amazing!”
- “I did so well on my Jewish History test!”
We extend a huge mazel tov to Rabbi and Mrs. Kosowsky and their entire family on their son’s aufruf this Shabbos and upcoming wedding. May we continue to share simchos!
Thank you to our stellar team of teachers who care about their students, and teach with passion and love for Torah!
I wish you all a wonderful Shabbos!
With all my brachos,
Batya Epstein
