Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to attend the Bnos Convention 5785, held in the warm and welcoming community of Cincinnati, OH. The convention brought together over 300 Bnos Leaders from 30 cities and 280 branches. The theme, “Ahavti Eschem Amar Hashem: Bnos Leaders are the Heart of it All,” truly resonated with us as we participated in a weekend filled with learning, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
Learning to Lead
Led by Rebbetzin Ayala Weinreb, the convention was a perfect blend of purpose and fun. Through various workshops and panels, we gained valuable insights into becoming effective leaders—learning about communication, proactivity, and setting positive examples. We covered a wide range of topics, from running games and discipline to storytelling and leadership training. These sessions were incredibly informative, and the divrei Torah provided spiritual inspiration that strengthened our resolve to lead with purpose.
Fun and Games
Alongside the educational sessions, we had a blast with exciting activities. A trip to Urban Air gave us the chance to bond while having fun with thrilling indoor adventures, and we also enjoyed a kumzitz and choir performances. There was plenty of time to socialize, make new friends and connect with others from across the country. The light-up game show was another highlight, combining challenges with quick thinking for an exhilarating experience.
Building Bonds
The convention wasn’t just about learning—it was also about building lasting friendships. We stayed with camp friends and met many new people from different cities, expanding our social circle. The sense of achdus and camaraderie was palpable, and sharing meals together helped foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made everyone feel part of something bigger than themselves.
A Memorable Experience
Attending the Bnos Convention was an unforgettable experience that has left a lasting impact on us. We returned not only more confident as leaders but also with cherished memories and a deeper sense of purpose. The lessons and friendships from the convention will continue to influence us for months to come, as we keep growing in our roles as Bnos leaders.
In summary, the Bnos Convention 5785 was a remarkable weekend that combined leadership training, fun, and deep spiritual growth. It inspired us to continue serving Klal Yisroel while building lasting bonds with others.
