Dear Parents,
As we near the end of our first semester, we are still busy learning, thinking, and studying together. I walk into classrooms and see the smiles of success on our girls’ faces, evidence of understanding in their notebooks, and meaningful connections in the thoughts they share. I hear the excitement that comes from learning new ideas, exploring what we can do differently, and helping a friend succeed. I walk through the halls and hear music, singing, and the sound of boxes being taped for the move to our new home!
Mazel tov to our Chumash Bekius classes that completed sefer Breishis. Our girls not only know the “story of the Parsha”; they understand complex lessons and learn the text independently.
Thank you, Mrs. Rosenblatt, for the beautiful kumsitz you hosted for your students.
Thank you to our G.O. heads, Sori Blitz and Adina Heimowitz, for ensuring we are not “blown over in the winter wind” while making ice cream for a special warm winter-day treat!
Thank you to our Tech. heads, Liora Goldberg, Nava Silber, and Talia Wiener for the exciting, thought-provoking activity. We were challenged to think about how much time we spend on technology and how this affects our relationships.
Thank you to Rabbi Shawel, who joined us last Friday and shared how fortunate we are to live in our beautiful Dallas community, which has grown exponentially since he arrived in 1984. He inspired us to look to our parents for guidance and to know how important and special we are. Rabbi Shawel left us with a bracha to pass on the faith and trust we have to the next generation, and to let them know they are also royalty!
Quotes of the week:
- “I enjoy learning new things I never knew about the Parsha!”
- “I can’t believe we are moving!”
Mazel tov to Rabbi and Mrs. Abrams and their entire family on the Bas Mitzvah of their daughter, Tehila Chaya.
Thank you to our stellar team of teachers who care about their students and teach with passion and love for Torah!
I wish you all a wonderful Shabbos!
With all my brachos,
Batya Epstein
